About Playroom Music Studio

Playroom started off as a project studio in 2015 in what used to be Jordan’s childhood playroom. It has been rebuilt and upgraded several times over the years, and currently resides in an old church located in the beautiful hills of Woodbury, Tennessee. Playroom is located one hour from the Nashville strip, and 30 minutes from Murfreesboro town square.

Over the years Overkamp has acquired various instruments available for customer use, whether for practice or recording purposes.  Options include a full drum kit and various cymbal options, Choice of several snare drums, electric drum kit, keyboard, organ, electric guitar, ukulele, bongos, djembe, rain stick, bells and tambourine, chimes, and other various auxiliary percussion.

About Jordan

Jordan Overkamp has a Bachelor’s degree in Audio Engineering from Middle Tennessee State University.  He has been studying and/or working in the audio engineering field since 2012.  He has eight years of formal drum training, leading to a solid foundation of music theory, voice and the art of percussion.  He also has been editing podcasts for airplay since 2021.  Overkamp is ready and able to help with your recording, Editing and production needs. Whether you are a student working on a class project, or an emerging musician ready to record your first album, Jordan can help with it all.
